Tulsa Woman Shot In Her Home

A 31-year-old woman died after the shooting in the 8600 block of East 30th Street.

TULSA, OK -- A woman shot inside her Tulsa home has died. It happened on Wednesday afternoon near 31st and Memorial.

The victim is a 31-year-old woman and investigators are still trying to figure out if her shooting was intentional or accidental.

Tulsa Police found the woman inside a home on 30th street. She was taken to the hospital, but later passed away. TPD has arrested a 35-year-old man they say is responsible for the shooting. Police say a six-year-old child was also in the house at the time.

Now authorities are trying to determine exactly what happened.

"We're early in the investigation, we don't know a lot of details, whether or not it was accidental, or whether or not it was an intentional shooting," said Tulsa Police captain Randy Hughes.
