Grenade Found In Catoosa

CATOOSA, OK -- The Rogers County Sheriff's Department is investigating a grenade found at the Lake Valley Mobile Home Park in Catoosa.

Deputies got a call on Monday morning from a resident saying they'd found the grenade in between two homes.

The Rogers County Sheriff's Department called the Tulsa Police Bomb Squad.  An explosives expert put the grenade in a safe box and took it away.

The News On 6 was told the hand grenade was blue in color which can indicate it was a training grenade.
