STILWELL, OK -- Despite the prospects for thunderstorms this week across eastern Oklahoma, Ozarks Electric Cooperative is hoping to have power restored to all of its customers by the end of this week.
Officials say about 95 percent of its members have had their power restored since the ice storm earlier this month.
In Oklahoma, just over 1,200 customers remain in the dark.
Ozarks Electric say strong winds Monday and thunderstorms likely on Tuesday evening could make it more difficult to get poles and equipment into areas for crews to finish their restoration efforts.
If the storms cause more tree damage, crews will have to rework the lines.

Ozarks Electric is again asking members to be patient as restoration efforts continue.
