OKMULGEE COUNTY -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Okmulgee County, near Beggs.
Troopers say an SUV was traveling on a gravel road at about 6:00 p.m. Saturday on Webster Road, when it lost control, hit an embankment and landed on its side.
Troopers say a man was driving and there was a woman and two-year-old child inside.
After the wreck, troopers say the man left in another vehicle and has not been found.
Troopers say no ambulance was called, instead the child was dropped off at a nearby fire department. The child did not survive.
Troopers have tracked down the mother, but still have a lot of questions.
