TULSA, OK -- There's a group of investors in Tulsa who believe there is still money to be made in the stock market, even now, and they believe they can teach anyone how to do it.  It's an investment club that welcomes new members.

None of the people in the club knew much about stocks when they started.  But now, they know a lot about stocks and investing.  And, they have learned together.

"Anybody can.  Yeah, it's not rocket science," said Bob Branson with the Tulsa Investment Club.

The Tulsa Investment Club to Obtain Cash is called TicToc for short.  They have a dozen members who each invest $25 a month.  They track their stocks together.  They've built a $33,000 portfolio of about a dozen companies.

"We do not have a herd mentality.  We don't have people selling their portfolios and going to cash, nothing like that," said Tami DeAngelis with the Tulsa Investment Club.

Even in the down economy, they have found companies that are doing well.  While it's not simple to understand, they believe anybody can learn how to invest in stocks and make money.

"And, we know how to sort all that out and we help people do that," said Bob Branson with the Tulsa Investment Club.

Tami DeAngelis learned how to evaluate companies and buy stock.  She says now she does better than most mutual fund managers.

"In my experience, I've done better many, many times," said Tami DeAngelis with the Tulsa Investment Club.

The club members learn together by investing together and they believe it is something everyone should learn to understand what's happening with their money.

There are several investment clubs in Tulsa.
