TULSA, OK -- As men around the country gear up for the Super Bowl, man's best friend got a little head start on the festivities during the second annual "Dog Bowl."
Canines from around town battled it out on the gridiron for best wide receiver, best running back and of course the quarterback sack.
It wouldn't be a real athletic event without cheerleaders, so there was a competition for that too.
The event was held at Cain's Ballroom. Money raised at the event goes to Forrest and Jenny's Place. It's a non-profit animal rescue group.
