TULSA, OK -- A new program helps rural Oklahoma students discover science hands on. It's called Science Matters.

Science Matters is a new discovery-based mobile museum funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. The goal is to enable students who live too far away from a museum to experience hands on science education.

Inside the truck there are all kinds of exciting exhibits and experiments for students to try out.

The mobile museum is aimed at challenging students, in a fun environment. The whole intent is to get kids excited about Discovery based learning.

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium will be hosting a number of events during the Science Matters event.

  • January 24th Teachers can visit free-make sure to bring your ID and recieve FREE admission.
  • January 24th Kim Jones, TASM Curator, will be available for book signings on his new book, Aviation in Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma
