TULSA, OK -- Educators at 21 area schools will soon reap the rewards of a job well done.
The teachers are getting bonuses for achievement in the classroom.
Tulsa Public Schools has nine elementary schools and one middle school on the list. There are three elementaries from Owasso and two from Miami.
Also making the cut, one elementary school in each of the Jenks, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Bartlesville, McAlester and Union school districts.
Everyone from principals to librarians will get the bonuses that range from $500 to $3,000.
The bonuses are made possible through a state program that rewards teachers based on factors such as test scores and attendance rates.
