TULSA, OK -- Northeast Oklahoma will begin a steady climb out of the ice box on Friday.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says the arctic air will slide to the southeast Friday, which allow for warmer temps to begin to return to northeast Oklahoma.

Early Friday, temperatures were in the teens.

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a heater fire early Friday morning.

Fire officials say a heater was the cause of the fire at the Village At Brookside Apartments at 41st and Peoria.

Two apartments suffered water damage.

Meanwhile, Saturday will feature morning clouds followed by afternoon sun as the next front moves over the area by early afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 50's.

Crone says Sunday morning lows in the 20s will be followed by highs in the mid to upper 40s.
