Tulsa Store Robbed By Armed Suspect

TULSA, OK -- An armed robbery suspect held up a cashier at a Tulsa drugstore Thursday morning before fleeing on foot.

Tulsa Police say the suspect waved a handgun at a cashier at the Walgreens store at 51st and Memorial, getting money from the store's cash register.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a male, 5-foot-9, wearing a blue fleece coat and hood, black gloves and holding a black handgun. 

Police officers are now searching the area of the suspect.
