Tulsa Vet Center Gets DVDs

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa area veterans have a new resource. New York based DVDs4Vets donated more than 200 DVDs to the Tulsa Vet Center near 14^th and Harvard.

The group says they were contacted by VCI Entertainment in Tulsa and it wanted to donate 30,000 DVDs, but wanted some to go to veterans in the Tulsa-area.

The veteran center says the DVDs are a quality of life issue.

"So a guy can come get a free movie, a lot of them have financial restraints, can't afford movies, can't afford to buy movies. So, this is a great outlet," said Johnny Cannon with the Tulsa Vet Center.
