TULSA, OK -- Tulsa area veterans have a new resource. New York based DVDs4Vets donated more than 200 DVDs to the Tulsa Vet Center near 14th and Harvard.
The group says they were contacted by VCI Entertainment in Tulsa and it wanted to donate 30,000 DVDs, but wanted some to go to veterans in the Tulsa-area.
The veteran center says the DVDs are a quality of life issue.
"So a guy can come get a free movie, a lot of them have financial restraints, can't afford movies, can't afford to buy movies. So, this is a great outlet," said Johnny Cannon with the Tulsa Vet Center.
Veteran's Centers can always use donated DVDs. Learn how to donate directly.
