Busy Tulsa Co. Road To Close For Debris Removal

TULSA COUNTY, OK -- A busy Tulsa County road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for several days next week.

Avery Drive connects state Highway 97 with 21st Street.

Tulsa County officials say maintenance crews will be removing tree limb debris along Avery Drive.

The debris is from the December 2007 ice storm.

Officials say the road closure will insure the safety of the crews removing the debris in a timely manner.

Avery Drive will close daily from January 20 to January 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weather permitting.
