TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man has been sentenced in connection with the stabbing death of Jared Harris in November 2007.
Just before his trial was to begin Tuesday morning in Tulsa County District Court, 21-year old Matthew Young pled guilty to a charge of first degree manslaughter.
Following his plea, Young was been sentenced to 40 years in prison, plus fines.
Tulsa Police say the two men got into a fight and Harris pulled a knife.

Police say Young took it away from him and stabbed him in the chest and throat, then staged the scene to look like a burglary.
