TULSA, OK -- If you want to drill something, fasten something or nail something, you may already know the name Hilti. This week they are meeting at the Tulsa Convention Center.
"Hilti is a global company, headquartered in Lichtenstein, our north American headquarters is here in Tulsa Oklahoma. We employ over 3,000 people in the U.S. and Canada," said David Schimmel, Hilti Director of Electric Tools and Accessories.
Hilti is holding its annual kick-off meeting for 2009, and have brought many of their North American employees to Tulsa to introduce them to the 2009 product line.
"You're at a show right now where we are demonstrating all the new innovation we're going to have this year. We're going to launch over 35 new products," said Cary Evert, Hilti President and CEO of the Western Hemisphere.
Despite a slowing economy, Hilti executives believe their conservative business model will give them growth in 2009. For an extended interview with Hilti CEO Cary Evert, watch the accompanying video.
