Police Chase From Tulsa To Sand Springs

SAND SPRINGS, OK -- A Sand Springs highway was shut down for a while overnight following a police chase. 

The chase happened at around 1:30 a.m. on U.S Highway 412 in Sand Springs.

A police officer spotted a stolen car near downtown Tulsa and followed the driver.  With help from other police officers, the vehicle was stopped on the Sand Springs Expressway. 

Two people were taken into custody. 

Police officers had to close the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 412, until the situation was brought under control.
