TULSA, OK -- A police chase in downtown Tulsa overnight lands a man in the Tulsa County Jail.
The chase began shortly after midnight when an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper tried to stop the driver of a pickup truck because of a broken headlight.
A check by the trooper showed the pickup truck was also stolen.
The driver, 30-year-old Johnny Willyard, led the trooper on a chase throughout downtown Tulsa and finally ended in front of the Tulsa County Courthouse.
Willyard fled the pickup truck on foot, but was caught by the OHP trooper and arrested. He faces a variety of charges, including eluding an officer, DUI, resisting arrest and vehicle theft.
