Anonymous Donor Pays for Ambulance Service

A Delaware County community in danger of losing its ambulance service because it couldn't pay the bill has received a special Christmas donation.

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, OK -- A Delaware County community in danger of losing its ambulance service because it couldn't pay the bill has received a special Christmas donation.

An anonymous donor will now pay for the ambulance service until West Siloam Springs can fund it.

Mayor Elaine Carr said the donor will pay monthly for the service, which is close to $17,000.

West Siloam Springs hopes to approve a 1-cent sales tax this Spring to help pay for the service.
