BROKEN ARROW, OK -- During the year they repair heaters and air conditioners. On Christmas Eve, an army of maintenance workers tried to fix Christmas.
Air Assurance in Broken Arrow wanted to brighten the holiday for families in need. The shop's 50 employees adopted 57 families.
They sacked up a Christmas ham and all the trimmings, and surprised folks, going door-to-door delivering their holiday feasts.
"Every year, we try to look for a project that in some way, we feel like it's our corporate responsibility to give back to the community. And our team members, our employees, love doing it. So when this opportunity came around, we thought it was great and everybody's looking forward to it," said Air Assurance owner Mark Rampey.
Air Assurance partnered with the non-profit group "Stand in the Gap" to select the families.
