Underwood Named Billboard's Hot Country Artist

UNDATED (AP) -- More people heard Carrie Underwood this year than any other country artist.  She is Billboard's No. 1 Hot Country Songs artist for 2008.

This year Underwood joined the Grand Ole Opry and co-hosted the CMA Awards. She also headlined the Carnival Ride tour, with 137 concerts and total attendance of almost 1.2
million.
