OKC Policeman Suspended Following Shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Oklahoma City police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on the city's south side.

Officer Cale Smith responded to a call Saturday night to a report of a teenager carrying a gun.  When Smith approached, the teen shot at the officer.  Smith, who was not injured, returned fire.

He has been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
