TULSA, OK -- Plans for the Tulsa Elton John and Billy Joel concert have changed.  More seats have opened up.

It's not unusual for some seats to become available at the last minute, but three months before the concert, a whole block of unsold seats have gone on sale.

While the floor of the BOK Center is all ice now, a red hot concert is expected for the middle of March.  The Elton John & Billy Joel concert is already almost a sellout, but a new section of seats has opened up.

"I expect this will be our largest grossing event in the building so far," said John Bolton with the BOK Center.

John Bolton manages the BOK Center and says even before the arena was finished, he was doing prep work for a planned, but never booked concert by Elton John alone.

"Before we had seats in here, they made me go all the way to the top and take pictures because some arenas are built so you can't see a piano on stage," said John Bolton with the BOK Center.

Now both performers will be on stage together at the West end of the BOK Center.

Tickets for the seats in the lower section with the best view are $90 dollars.  Seats in the upper section that overlook the stage are $53 dollars.

"For this it's an open stage, everything is unobstructed, so you can see the pianos and Elton and Billy together," said John Bolton with the BOK Center.

The two rock stars will appear together less than a dozen times this year and even though the Tulsa stop is close to a sellout, Bolton says there is no chance of a second show.

The tickets are online, but if you're looking for the specific sections behind the stage, it may be easier to call or come by the box office to get what you want.
