Good Samaritan Award Given To Doctor

TULSA, OK - Dr. Audrey Stanton has been honored for her work outside the hospital.

Dr. Stanton was driving on Highway 75 last month when she saw a car slam into another car parked on the shoulder.

Five people were inside the parked car including two children.

Dr. Stanton jumped out and tried to help those injured.

On Tuesday, the Tulsa Fire Department honored her for her courageous act with the "Good Samaritan Award."

Dr. Stanton says she's humbled by the award, but more impressed by all the other drivers who also stopped to help.
