JAY, OK -- Delaware County authorities say a former Fairland police chief was booked into their jail on Friday.

Billy Ray Moore is charged with two counts of false declaration of ownership in pawn.

The Delaware County Sheriff's office says the charges stem from an incident in which two handguns issued to Moore as a police officer, were allegedly pawned.

In October, Moore was arrested in Vinita after he passed four counterfeit $100 bills at a Wal-Mart store while wearing his Fairland Police uniform.
