Sea Lions Take On A Globetrotter

Two sea lions gave one Globetrotter a run for his money on Tuesday.

TULSA, OK -- The Harlem Globetrotters are known all around for their basketball talents, but did you know we have some basketball stars in Tulsa? They live at the Tulsa Zoo.

Two sea lions gave one Globetrotter a run for his money on Tuesday. The three competed in a friendly game, while the slippery animals showed-off their basketball skills. Skills that could be used on the court.

"We could probably use them out there on the court. I think they could do some things that would help us win. The big fella, oooh, he's like 400 pounds, we could use him as a lane blocker," said Globetrotter, Wildkat Edgerson.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be back in Tulsa in January for a special performance at the BOK Center. The sea lions are at the Tulsa Zoo every day.
