1 cup quick grits
1 tsp salt
1/3 package Velveeta®, cubed
1 can diced green chiles
garlic powder to taste
2 eggs beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 cups water
1 stick butter
In med sauce pan, mix grits, water and salt. Cook for 5 mins, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Add butter, Velveeta, chilis, garlic powder and eggs. Stir until cheese is melted. Pour into greased casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake at 325 o F for 40 mins. Top with cheddar and brown in oven.
