TULSA, OK -- An armed robbery suspect was chased down on foot Monday morning in downtown Tulsa.
Police say an officer spotted a car that matched a vehicle seen near an east Tulsa Subway restaurant robbery earlier Monday.
When officers stopped the vehicle, the suspect jumped out and ran.
After a short foot chase, the suspect was apprehended at the corner of 4th and Frankfort, about 4 blocks away from where he abandoned his vehicle.
Police believe the suspect is connected with the armed robbery of the Subway near Admiral and Sheridan.
The suspect, who was driving a stolen vehicle, was arrested and taken in for questioning.
The name of the suspect was not released.
