OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- A high-speed chase down the Turner Turnpike kept the Oklahoma Highway Patrol busy Friday afternoon.
SkyNews 9 picked up the chase just west of Stroud. The driver swerved in and out of traffic, sometimes driving on the shoulder to get through.
OHP troopers set out stop sticks, but the driver was able to avoid them. The chase continued all the way into Oklahoma City.
At one point, the highway patrol bumped the back of the car, but couldn't get him to stop. A few miles later, the driver pulled off the highway.
He ran into the curb and plowed into a stop sign in the parking lot of a Chili's restaurant where troopers took the driver and a passenger into custody.
The chase started when the driver took off during a traffic stop.
