TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Community College has deployed a wireless network across the school's four campuses.
As a result of the new wireless network, TCC's 30,000 students for the first time will have total wireless access throughout every facility and educational space.
The technology initiative, launched in August, provides TCC with the latest in Wi-Fi technology.
"Tulsa Community College is a leader in the state in offering online college credit and degrees. This installation of the latest wireless technology matches our efforts to provide students with the services they need to learn in today's competitive technology environment," said Tom McKeon, TCC president and CEO.
The new wireless network at TCC brings much faster data travel rates, up to 300 megabits per second/Mbps compared to the existing 54 Mbps.
