OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- The troubled economy is forcing Oklahoma car dealerships to cut prices and that means big savings for the consumer.
Car sales in Oklahoma are down 15 to 20 percent at some dealerships. That means as much as $10,000 off the original price.
Dealers say despite what you think, lenders are still handing out money.
"As far as our average everyday good customers, you have a good job, you have good income, we're getting people financed all the time," said Stan Grady, Bob Moore GM.
A lot of dealerships are offering 0 % financing to get people in cars.
Buyers say dealerships are also settling on lower prices a lot easier than they used to.
With end of the year clearances right around the corner, prices will likely drop even more.
