TULSA, OK -- Two people including a 2-year old girl are lucky to be alive after a traffic accident Friday morning.
A woman was northbound at I-244 and 33rd West Avenue around 6:45 a.m. Friday.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the woman told troopers she swerved to avoid a piece of wood and struck a guardrail. Her pickup truck rolled several times ejecting her 2-year old girl.
OHP troopers say the child is okay. She suffered some cuts and that's about all. The woman was rushed to a Tulsa hospital with serious injuries.
OHP troopers don't believe the woman or her child was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Troopers say they also could not find a seat for the child.
