UNDATED -- About twice as many Oklahomans now say their personal economic situation is worse than those who say it's better. That's one of the headlines from the latest News On 6 Oklahoma Poll with the Tulsa World.
Of those in the statewide survey, 36% say the economy is the state's most pressing problem. That's the greatest concern seen for the economy since we've been asking the question.
Education and road conditions are the next highest areas of concern.
Not surprisingly, 80% of Oklahomans say the country's situation is getting worse. That contrasts with 38% who say things are getting worse in Oklahoma.
And, when asked about personal situations, 36% say it's getting worse, compared to only 16% who say it's getting better.
