BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A close call for a man who escaped his burning mobile home overnight.
The fire happened at 10:45 p.m. Monday near 71st and 193rd East Avenue in Broken Arrow.
Fire officials say the man had recently moved into the mobile home. He told firefighters he smelled smoke and then saw it drifting up from the water heater.
Fire officials say the man will be okay, but the mobile home was destroyed.
