More Support Tulsa's Street Plan

TULSA, OK -- A major issue facing Tulsa voters on Tuesday  the Street Repair Package.  On Monday, the package picked up two major endorsements.

Both the Tulsa NAACP and the Tulsa Urban League announced their support for Propositions One and Two.  They say it's something Tulsans have been asking for.

"Most double NAACP members live in north Tulsa, and the streets in north Tulsa are horrible and what I'm hearing is that people want something done," said Pleas Thompson with the Tulsa NAACP.

"It's time to fix our streets.  It is way time to fix the streets," said Tulsa Urban League's Marla Mayberry.

Both organizations say their members are most concerned with north Tulsa streets, but all agree streets need attention all across the city.
