STILLWATER, OK -- Oklahoma State University denies rumors that the money Boone Pickens donated for the West End Stadium project is gone. $165 million he had donated was invested in his own hedge fund.
But, Pickens says OSU did not lose everything.
"The OSU Funds were in with 300 other partners. So, they of course haven't lost that. But, our program is on schedule. We'll do just exactly what we said we'd do," said OSU Alum, Boone Pickens.
Pickens says he'll announce another major gift to OSU on Monday. He says with that donation, OSU will have more money than before.
T. Boone Pickens talks about the stadium he's building for OSU, his plan to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and his experience at the Democratic National Convention tomorrow on "60 Minutes."
