TULSA, OK -- The City of Tulsa will try to foreclose on a downtown property owner.

Thursday was the deadline for the owner of The Tulsa Club to respond to the city's demand to bring the run-down historic building up to code.

It's been empty since 1994.

California businessman C.J. Morony bought it in 1997 for $125,000, but now owes several hundred thousand dollars in fines because of its condition.
