Damon DoRemus

Owner of Geek Rescue

Damon DoRemus has more than 13 years of experience as a business owner in Tulsa, and currently serves as the President of Geek Rescue. Geek Rescue was formed out of the demand from local web site development and hosting customers need for IT support. Initially, services were only performed for web site customers of Electronic Billboards, Inc. (Geek Rescue's parent company).  In 2000, services were expanded to homes, home offices and businesses. Over the next 8 years, Geek Rescue has expanded to three locations in Tulsa and has performed over 200,000 unique customer/computer rescues with clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies.

Under Damon's direction, Geek Rescue has found itself in the spotlight many times in the past 8 years. In 2000, the company was a finalist for The Most Promising New Business Award. Geek Rescue exceeded these expectations, and earned its next award in 2003 from the Tulsa Advertising Federation for the "36" Addy. The company was awarded its third award in Urban Tulsa Magazine for the Absolute Best of Tulsa in 2005, and continues to earn its reputation as a successful enterprise in the Tulsa community.

As a company, Geek Rescue plays an active role in the community through involvement with The Parent Child Center of Tulsa, Big Brother Big Sisters, Mayfest, Reggaefest, the Oklahoma Scottish Games, and Oktoberfest.

Damon is a Tulsa native, and prior to forming Geek Rescue's parent company Electronic Billboards, Inc. with partner Chris Finnerty, he attended the University of Oklahoma where he was the president of the OU Polo Equestrian club.  Before returning to Tulsa he worked as a petroleum land man for Hal C. Smith & Associates in Norman. He is an active father of two young boys and enjoys ranching, boating, baseball, and (of course) working on his computer.
