Man Struck And Killed

TULSA, OK -- A hitchhiker was killed late Thursday evening when he was hit by a taxi cab on U.S. Highway 75. 

Tulsa Police officers say the man was on the U.S. Highway 75 on-ramp at 61st Street when he stumbled onto the road. 

The driver of the taxi cab didn't have time to slow down and hit the man. 

The victim is 39 years old.  Tulsa Police say his name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
