TULSA, OK -- A man accused of causing a deadly accident on Highway 75 in June, now faces first degree manslaughter charges.
Thomas Pottoroff turned himself in, was booked into jail and released on bail.
Police say Pottoroff had driven nearly 400 feet with his two left tires in the center median, then drove for another 520 feet all the way in the median, before veering into oncoming traffic and right into Sheila Layton's truck.
Layton was a wife and mother on her way home from work.
Police believe Pottoroff had a number of prescription drugs in his system at the time of the crash.
