Sand Springs Highway Project Begins

SAND SPRINGS, OK -- You won't be able to miss Highway 97 in Sand Springs, from 41st street to the Sand Springs Expressway.

Crews started on a six-month project Monday to place more than 100 light fixtures along the two mile stretch of highway.

The project's being funded by a half cent sales tax and ODOT money.
