TULSA, OK -- Police are looking for suspects who shot a man in the face overnight.
The man was critically injured during an argument with two people at a Tulsa apartment complex.
The incident started shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday when police officers were called to the Avondale Apartments in the 6900 block of South Trenton Avenue.
Police say two people walked into an apartment. A female suspect then told a woman in the apartment to step out on the balcony. Moments later, there was a struggle inside the apartment over a shotgun, causing the gun to fire twice. That is when 30-year-old Sherrod Darden was shot in the face.
"The victim isn't able to give us a lot of information at this point. Other witness say he doesn't live here and is basically an acquaintance. There are indications he may have known them but we are still investigating at this point," said Tulsa Police Captain Richard Alexander.
Sherrod Darden is in critical condition at a Tulsa hospital.
The male suspect is in his 20's, about 5-foot-9 and wore dark clothing. So far, no description of the female suspect has been given.
