Snickerdoodle Cookies

National and local celebrities have joined together to create a new cookbook in support of our U.S. service members.  Kitchen Kimberley was asked to contribute a recipe, Snickerdoodle Cookies.

1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 stick of butter, softened
Sugar and cinnamon, mixed

Mix cake, eggs, and butter in a bowl. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar and cinnamon. Put on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar mixture. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Kitchen Kimberley's Tips:

The best way to mix this dough is by hand, literally! Use your hands to blend until all dry ingredients are moistened. The warmth of your hands helps to melt the butter and blend everything evenly.

Allow these cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing them to a wire rack.
