A town meeting is set for Thursday night to discuss how the town will move forward after an E. coli outbreak.
The Oklahoma Department of Health says at least 231 people have been sickened, many from eating at the Country Cottage Restaurant in Locust Grove.
At least 61 people have been hospitalized, including 16 who've received dialysis treatment. One person has died.
At least one family contacted the News On 6 about the Thursday evening meeting. Kendra Gibson says while she understands the worries about Locust Grove's economy and the reopening of The Country Cottage, but said in a statement she wants to know why her child got sick before everyone talks about moving forward.
