Cooler weather, hot chili and great music are on the agenda this weekend in Claremore.
The 29th Annual Bluegrass and Chili Festival opens Friday night. The City of Claremore expects as many as 35,000 people at the Expo Center during the event.
The festival offers three stages of free entertainment, dozens of live musicians, arts and crafts and of lots of chili.
People from across the United States take part in the festival.
"They enjoy it. They like the car show and the chili cook-off. They get to taste the chili and just have some great family fun," said coordinator Tanya Andrews.
The Bluegrass and Chili Festival runs until eleven o'clock on Friday night and Saturday night.
