Area police officers took to the roof top of Tulsa's Krispy Kreme Friday morning to raise money for the Special Olympics.

The Cops on Doughnut Shops fundraiser will be taking donations all weekend.  And, while the officers are helping the Olympians, they say it's the kids who help them.

"Let me tell you, we get the benefit out of it all, so when they come up, and they look at you like you're somebody important and they want to talk to you or touch you or visit with you, we get as much out of it as they do," said Broken Arrow Police Deputy Chief Norm Stephens.

Donations are being accepted for the Special Olympics at the Krispy Kreme at 71st Street and Highway 169 and online.
