WEBB CITY, MO -- While detectives search for a motive in this past weekend's double murder, four girls are coming to terms with losing a father.
Travis Danley remains in the Tulsa County Jail. Tulsa County Sheriff's detectives say Danley and David Lujaun drove from Missouri to a home near Sperry to visit friends over the holiday weekend. But, deputies say something happened and Danley killed two of those friends, including Lujaun.
Lujaun's ex-wife says she's trying to help their four daughters deal with losing their dad. They've spent the past couple days thinking about all the good times they had together.
"He's probably up there in heaven with my gammy and his dad, and he's probably really, really happy right now. And then, we saw a rainbow, and mommy said that's probably his staircase to heaven," said Lujaun's daughter Hannah.
The girls say they can't help but think about all the things they'll never get to do with their dad. He promised to take them out on a boat on their next trip to Tulsa.
