Tulsa County investigators are in Joplin, Missouri, getting a warrant to process a vehicle and gun they believe was used in last weekend's double homicide.
Investigators say the truck and gun belong to Travis Danley. Danley is currently in the Tulsa County Jail on two counts of murder.
Deputies say he killed 46-year-old Michael Reeder and another man. They are not releasing the second identify until they notify that victim's family.
The men were found in Sperry on Sunday when firefighters responded to a house fire. One had been shot in the head with a shotgun. Investigators can't determine the cause of death for the other victim, because he'd been set on fire and burned beyond recognition.
Sherriff's deputies say Danley admitted to being at the home and to drinking with the two men Saturday night.
They say it appears the men got into a fight.
Danley went to Missouri and told people about the murders and his mother talked him into turning himself into a sheriff's office in Missouri.
