Child Drowns In Pool

A one-year-old Broken Arrow child drowns in the swimming pool at a Broken Arrow home.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday, Broken Arrow Police and Fire responded to the 500 block of West Toledo Place on a report of a possible drowning.  The child was retrieved from the water.

Broken Arrow Police Major Mark Irwin says emergency personnel learned a one-year-old boy had fallen into a pool. CPR was started and the boy was taken to a Broken Arrow hospital.
