Investigation Into Death Continues

Authorities are investigating an apparent homicide in rural Pittsburg County. 

The body of 31-year-old James Nester was found over the weekend at a residence south of Bache. Bache is located east of McAlester on U.S. Highway 270.

Officials say Nester didn't live at the residence and was from the Hartshorne area.  He was last seen walking on a rural road near state Highway 63 on Friday. 

State investigators have been called in to help with the case.
