Man On Trial Again In Step-Daughter's Death

The murder trial of a man accused of killing his teenage step-daughter is underway in Wagoner.

Prosecutors say Oscar Patterson, III, killed Tiffany Beverly with a tire tool in an effort to cover up his sexual abuse of her.  Beverly's body was found in Wagoner County field in 1998, a year after she disappeared.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case.  Patterson was convicted of the crime in 2000, but the conviction was overturned on appeal.
