TPD Gets Recommendation For More Officers

An outside consultant recommends the Tulsa Police Department put about 90 more officers on the streets. That would include moving at least 30 officers with desk jobs back out to the field and hiring the rest.

The study also says other cities use more civilian employees to handle jobs currently assigned to sworn officers in Tulsa.
